Sparks Fly is the 11th episode in Season 2 of Mighty Med. It aired on April 1, 2015.


When superhero Spark, a tough-as-nails teenage girl, meets Kaz at Mighty Med, he asks her out. However, Spark becomes crazy jealous of anyone Kaz even talks to, so he fakes his death to make Spark go away. When Spark finds out it breaks her heart, just as her nemesis shows up.

  • Nightstrike's actor previously portrayed The Annihilator.

  • Oliver helped Kaz fake his own death, though unwillingly.
    • Oliver had a funeral for Kaz's 'death', also against his will.
    • Gus didn't seem to realize that Kaz wasn't actually dead. It was also revealed that Gus cannot make air quotes with his fingers.
